5th grade students participate in activities designed to raise awareness about special needs.
Open to 5th and 6th grade students. Multiple sessions are held based on student interest.
FT has both a 5th and 6th grade band
Weekly intramural competition. Held in two or more sessions based on interest.
Open to any interested 6th grade student. This group meets 3 mornings a week during band.
Annual event for 5th grade students.
Students who earn 3.75 GPA or higher (equates to a total of 4 B's or 2 B's and 1 C (in core courses) over the course of the school year) will be invited to participate in the Honors Breakfast at the end of the year. (Students will be recognized each quarter when they achieve Honor Roll status with a 3.0 or higher GPA)
Students participate in this national event to raise money for the American Heart Association.
Intramurals are held after school until 3:30 pm. 5th grade students attend Tuesdays and 6th grade students attend Wednesdays
Students participate in this national event to raise money for St. Jude's Hospital.
Annual competition for interested 6th grade students.
Annual 6th grade camp experience. Involves all 6th grade students and their teachers.
