Student Council News

01/19/18 Student Council Lock-In: This will be our third Lock-In at the Junior High. On Friday, January 19th, from 8:30-11:00PM, students can come to the Junior High to be “locked-in” and play video games, board games, cornhole, dodgeball, watch movies, sing karaoke, and more! Entry cost is $6.00 and will go towards future Student Council events such as the Valentine’s Dance, Pasta for Pennies Competition, and Teacher Appreciation Week.

We also wanted to remind you all of another easy way you can support Student Council here  at AWJH! Student Council has just joined the Kroger Community Rewards program, so to support Student Council all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card! Once you’ve connected your Plus Card to our organization, every time you make a purchase, a percentage will come back to Student Council.

To connect your Kroger Plus Card, please follow the directions below. If you do not have a Kroger Plus Card, you may get one at the customer service desk at any Kroger.
You should see a section that says “Sign In or Create an Account to Enroll”
If you have an account, sign in
If you do not have an account, create an account using your Kroger Plus Card
Once you’ve signed in, you should see a section that says, “Giving More Back to the Community!” Click the button under it that says, “Enroll Now.”
This should take you to a section that says, “Community Rewards.” Click “Enroll” again.
At the next screen you may type in the organization name (ANTHONY WAYNE JR HIGH STUDENT COUNCIL) or the organization number  (45488). When Anthony Wayne Jr High Student Council pops up, click it and then “Confirm” to enroll!
To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see AWJH Student Council on the right side of your information page.
Please note: You may only connect your card to one organization. Also, you must re-enroll each year.

Thank you all and have a happy holiday season!
