Waterville Historical Society is hosting a number of free events for fall!

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to therapy dogs!  Grades K-5 - Tuesdays Sept. 25 – Oct. 30 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the Waterville Library

BGSU is hosting numerous Fall Learn to Swim classes for kids from 6 months to 17 years old at the BGSU Rec Center

The Spirit of Sierah Run- Live, Laugh, Love Every Day 5K is October 20th and will be held at Ice Industries.  The race starts at 3 pm and will have a 5k and kids fun run.  We are encouraging everyone to get into the “Spirit of Sierah: and wear their favorite Halloween costume.  Right after the kids fun run we will have a trick or treating event where the kiddos can go from table to table and get candy and goodies.   Funds raised by this event will be going towards educating Ohio on Sierah’s Law as well as empowering our youth on self-awareness and self-defense.

Anthony Wayne boys do you love to play basketball? Do you want to take your game to the next level, challenge yourself, and improve your skills; all the while having fun playing the game you love? The Anthony Wayne Generals Travel Basketball Board would like to invite you to register for our 2018 tryouts. Tryouts are currently planned for Saturday 9/29/18 & Saturday 10/6/18. Adult Drug Education - Tuesday, September 25 from  6 — 9 p.m. at the St. Luke’s Hospital Auditorium located at 5901 Monclova Rd, Maumee.  Registration for this free event is required as seating is limited. Please call 419-897-8484 to make a reservation.

Evolving Minds Youth Center at the The First Presbyterian Church of Waterville located at 611 Farnsworth Road is offering FREE TUTORING on Wednesday evenings beginning November 7th Weekly sessions run from 5pm ~ 6pm

Tutors are current and retired teachers, as well as select Anthony Wayne High School students. A certified teacher will be on site during the sessions to plan and monitor the tutoring.

Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry serves the Anthony Wayne Community.  The Food Pantry is on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 -6 p.m. at the Waterville Community Church on Dutch Road.  There is a website with more information at

The Future Falcon Kids Club is the official BGSU Athletic fan club for kids 12 and under.

There are many programs available to Ohio customers who are having difficulty paying their electric utility bills. Please review the programs in this brochure to see if they may help you or someone you know.

The Lil’ Timbers Kids Club meets the first Saturday of every month from 11am-12pm. Different locations and activities vary each month depending on the season and tenant involvement. The event is complimentary and open to the public. No age restrictions.
