Criteria for selection

  • Scholastic aptitude and prior academic achievement (GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • Individual motivation, ability and potential as demonstrated by your essay
  • Finalist-interview with the Toledo Community Foundation's Scholarship Advisory Committee
  • Two letters of reference from teachers, counselor, principal, and/or employer
  • Financial need
  • Extra curricular activities
  • Employees and dependents of employees of both Buckeye Companies and sponsors of BCSN Scholarship Project are ineligible to apply

Application

Counselors will select one applicant per month to submit to the Toledo Community Foundation
