Applebees in Maumee will be holding a fundraiser event to support Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Great Strides) on Saturday, March 21st from 8:00 a.m. - 10:a.m.  Tickets are $8.00.

June 8-11 at the AW Tennis Courts.  For grades Kdg- 4th  (9:00 a.m. - 10:30 am) and grades 5th-8th (10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.).  The cost is $50 and includes a free t-shirt.

Enroll your child for the 9th season of our science outreach program for children on the BGSU campus. Kids’ Tech University is designed to spark children’s interest in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics by having a scientist talk to them about their work, while giving the children opportunities to ask lots of questions. In the afternoon session the children explore scientific concepts guided by mentors in a university teaching lab.
Kids’ Tech University is a first-come, first-served program that is open to children ages 9 through 12 as of September 30, 2019. This program is open to all children meeting the age requirement, regardless of place of residence or academic achievement, and can accommodate up to 90 participants representing a geographically diverse area.

Parent’s Night Out– Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the Anthony Wayne Community YMCA Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math! We will be creating our own S.T.E.A.M. projects & crafts & playing games. As always, we will offer our Inflatable Obstacle Course, a kid-friendly movie and some pizza with Valentine-themed snacks. All are welcome so invite your friends!  The cost is $15/Member and $30/Program Participant.

Anthony Wayne YMCA Home Dodgeball Co-Ed League is for young people ages 6-11.   Practices are once a week on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:15pm and games are on Saturdays from1:30-2:00pm.  Practices start Tuesday, March 3rd.  First Game is Saturday, March 14th. 

Physician Assistant Nina Rettig welcomes all age groups. 

This training is designed for parents and will address the types of inappropriate behavior, the methods you can use in working with behavioral challenges, and some techniques that may assist the child in developing the appropriate skills necessary to self-regulate behavior.

Evolving Minds Youth Center located at the First Presbyterian Church of Waterville 611 Farnsworth Road offers free tutoring on Wednesday evenings beginning November 6th. Weekly sessions run from 5pm ~ 6pm.  Tutors are current and retired teachers, as well as select Anthony Wayne High School students.  A certified teacher will be on site during the sessions to plan and monitor the tutoring.  

If you are interested in having your child participate in this program, please call the church to register at 419-878-2806. Call now, spots fill quickly! Walk-ins are not accepted.

This training is designed for parents and professionals and will overview autism spectrum disorder and educational services for children with autism.  It will be held on March 25, 2020 at the Lucas County Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West located at 2275 Collingwood Blvd, Conference Room 1, in Toledo

Children ages 4-14 can learn to play hockey in 8 week sessions.  Program runs from September 7th through the end of June.

The School of Art at Bowling Green State University is proud to offer youth art classes each semester for students in kindergarten – 12th grade.  Classes meet for 10 Saturdays each semester from 10:00-11:30am.

Fee: $79, plus $10 materials fee – for each semester (a few tuitions supports will be available for families with financial need. Click HERE for application

The Future Falcon Kids Club is the official BGSU athletic fan club for kids 12 and under. 

Join Anthony Wayne Community YMCA for Teen Fitness Club every Tuesday from 3:30- 4:30pm. This club is for youth members ages 10-16 that want to use the tness center and improve their health.

Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry serves the Anthony Wayne Community.  The Food Pantry is on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 -6 p.m. at the Waterville Community Church on Dutch Road.  There is a website with more information at www.awcfm.com.
