Our website allows us to process flyer requests in an electronic format, saving paper and time but still reaching a broad audience for these events.

No materials from any profit making organizations will be distributed to students in any format.

Flyer Submission Guidelines

In order to expedite your request, please use the guidelines listed below:

Forms should be submitted electronically as an attachment to an email, directed to superintendent@anthonywayneschools.org

Each flyer must include: 

Contact Name
Phone Number.

Please be sure to include the desired date of posting and the date that the event ends.

Please supply a brief description/title of your flyer which includes the following information:


Flyers may be submitted any time but will ONLY be posted once a week.  In order for us to help you promote your event, please plan accordingly.

Requests to building personnel will be directed to the central office for consideration of approval.   ALL flyers must be pre-approved by the superintendent.

AWHS Current Flyers

Applebees in Maumee will be holding a fundraiser event to support Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Great Strides) on Saturday, March 21st from 8:00 a.m. - 10:a.m.  Tickets are $8.00.

All Star Driver's Education is offering classes at AWHS.  Sign-up for classes starting in February and in April.

The Trashion Fashion Show, sponsored by the Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission, will bring truly unique designs to the runway. The event will be held on March 7, 2020 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Story Point Waterville, 1470 Pray Blvd., Waterville, OH.

High school-aged students through adults who interested in participating in the style show should use their design skills to create and model a garment created from discarded materials. Designers are encouraged to use their imagination to transform trash or recyclables into fashion. Garments can be created by an individual or a team. A $200 award will be given to the winning designer/s. Designers must pre-register.

If you are not a designer please join us for this event anyway! A fantastic style show of outfits created using recyclables and trash will be the feature of the event!

Physician Assistant Nina Rettig welcomes all age groups. 

This training is designed for parents and will address the types of inappropriate behavior, the methods you can use in working with behavioral challenges, and some techniques that may assist the child in developing the appropriate skills necessary to self-regulate behavior.

We focus on teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and promoting the fundamentals of the great game of football in a fun, family-friendly, safe and competitive environment. All skill levels welcome.

Evolving Minds Youth Center located at the First Presbyterian Church of Waterville 611 Farnsworth Road offers free tutoring on Wednesday evenings beginning November 6th. Weekly sessions run from 5pm ~ 6pm.  Tutors are current and retired teachers, as well as select Anthony Wayne High School students.  A certified teacher will be on site during the sessions to plan and monitor the tutoring.  

If you are interested in having your child participate in this program, please call the church to register at 419-878-2806. Call now, spots fill quickly! Walk-ins are not accepted.

This training is designed for parents and professionals and will overview autism spectrum disorder and educational services for children with autism.  It will be held on March 25, 2020 at the Lucas County Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West located at 2275 Collingwood Blvd, Conference Room 1, in Toledo

Brothers and Sisters of People with Special Needs Come and Join the Fun!  Gatherings will be:  January 18, 2020, February 22, 2020, March 28, 2020, April 18, 2020

Children ages 4-14 can learn to play hockey in 8 week sessions.  Program runs from September 7th through the end of June.

The School of Art at Bowling Green State University is proud to offer youth art classes each semester for students in kindergarten – 12th grade.  Classes meet for 10 Saturdays each semester from 10:00-11:30am.

Fee: $79, plus $10 materials fee – for each semester (a few tuitions supports will be available for families with financial need. Click HERE for application

Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry serves the Anthony Wayne Community.  The Food Pantry is on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 -6 p.m. at the Waterville Community Church on Dutch Road.  There is a website with more information at www.awcfm.com.
