Registration Day Information

Greetings Anthony Wayne Junior High Families,

 We are looking forward to our Registration Day next Monday (8/12/24) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Before you arrive, please make sure you have completed the online registration which can be found on our Back to School page: https://www.anthonywayneschools.org/BacktoSchool. Here is what you can expect on Monday:

• Please enter through the main office doors (#1) and proceed to the gymnasium.
• In the gymnasium you will find the following stations :
  1. Registration & Nurse’s Station - Here we will check to make sure your registration has been completed and you can submit any medical forms to our nurse
  2. Schedules - You will receive a copy of your student’s schedule, updated password information, fee sheets, and your OST family report
  3. Fees - Here you can pay any school or athletic fees not already paid online
  4. Food Service - We will have a representative from our food service team to answer any questions
  5. AWPTA - Learn more about how you can get involved with our PTA
  6. Band Boosters - Learn more about our Band Boosters program
  7. Athletics Boosters & Youth Foundation - Learn more about our Athletics Boosters program and about our community’s youth foundation
  8. Neighborhood bridges - Learn more about the neighborhood bridges program that supports Anthony Wayne families
  9. Device Pick-Up - New students and those that left their device at FT can pick up their device at this station (Parent/Guardian signature may be required)
  10. LifeTouch Pictures - Get your school picture taken.  *Pre-order code: EVTSW7KKV
  11. Transportation information will be uploaded to the Parent Portal in Powerschool on the day of registration. Please understand that your student’s route and bus number may have changed. 
• After you complete the registration process in the gymnasium, you are welcome to explore the building. Please understand that we will have limited staff members in the building. 

After Registration Day:

• If you are not able to attend registration day, you can visit the school office between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Picture retakes will occur October 29th.
• We will host an Open House on Tuesday, August 20th (6:00-7:30 pm).  We will NOT be able to process or accept fee payments at this event,
• The first day of school for 7th graders will be Thursday, August 22nd. 8th graders will join the 7th graders on Friday, August 23rd.
