Anthony Wayne Local Schools Ranked Top 5% in State

Dear Anthony Wayne Community:
 
It is with excitement that I share some exceptional news with you. Today, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Development released the 2024 School Report Cards and I am thrilled to share that Anthony Wayne Local Schools continues to demonstrate excellence in academic achievement.
 
We are proud to announce that Anthony Wayne Local Schools:
  • earned a Performance Index Score of 103.5, placing the District in the top 5% of all schools in Ohio.
  • ranked 36th out of the 608 school districts across the state, placing the District among the top schools in our area.
  • received an overall ranking of 4.5 stars.
 
These results are a reflection of the District’s strong commitment to providing outstanding educational experiences for students, and a demonstration of its vision to be among the best school districts in the state.
 
Our individual schools scored as follows:
  • Anthony Wayne High School:  4 Stars
  • Anthony Wayne Junior High School: 4.5 Stars
  • Fallen Timbers Middle School: 5 Stars
  • Monclova Primary School: 4.5 Stars
  • Waterville Primary School: 4.5 Stars
  • Whitehouse Primary School: 4 Stars
 
Additionally, 65.6% of the District’s students scored in the top three performance levels of Advanced Plus, Advanced or Accomplished on the spring Ohio State Tests (OST).
