Thanks to a little friendly competition, the Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry will be able to support more families this fall.
During the week of November 14, seventh and eighth grade Homebase classes competed to Altogether, students and staff collected more than 500 nonperishable food items for local families.
Animals in the care of Nature’s Nursery will also benefit from the generosity of the staff and students at AWJH. More than 700 items were collected as a part of their Halloween Costume Contest.
