Military-connected students participating in AWJH’s Purple Star Generals group have been hard at work this fall supporting the families of the 180th Fighter Wing. They volunteered to pass out candy and paint faces at Trunk or Treat, hosted a Veterans Day breakfast and packed bags with gifts for the 180th Fighter Wing’s annual holiday party.
Waterville Primary’s Purple Star Generals researched the various branches of the military and made plans to honor service members on Veterans Day, and 4th graders presented an evening Veterans Day program.
