The Anthony Wayne High School Student Council is dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive and service-driven school culture. Through initiatives like a Red Cross Blood Drive, Teddy Bear Toss benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, Coins for Cancer fundraiser, networking/training event for other local high school student councils, and video projects to promote literacy, our Student Council members are active in our school and in our community.
As we approach the end of the school year, we seek your support for two major events that celebrate and reward our students: After-Prom and Incentive Day. These events provide safe and exciting opportunities for students to enjoy well-earned moments of celebration. |
Your donation can make a splash at After-Prom!
For over 20 years, AWHS has hosted a supervised After-Prom celebration, ensuring students have a fun, substance-free place to continue their festivities. This year, we plan to transport students to Kalahari Resort in Sandusky. Our goal is to make this event free of charge and we need your help to make that happen. We must raise $5,000 by May 1 to provide this opportunity for our students.
Your contribution will congratulate student achievement!
We are also seeking support for our end-of-year Incentive Day, an exciting event that rewards our freshmen, sophomores and juniors for their academic accomplishments, attendance and personal growth. Last year’s Incentive Day featured 15+ hands-on activity stations like: tabletop games, woodworking and jewelry making, along with inflatables, snacks and a prize raffle. This event encourages students to set and achieve goals, reinforcing a culture of hard work and dedication.
Here’s how you can help:
Monetary donations help cover venue costs, food and entertainment.
Gift certificates provide snacks and door prizes for students.
Promotional business items or “swag” enhance the experience with fun giveaways.
Your donation to After-Prom and/or Incentive Day makes a direct impact on our students. As a fully tax-deductible contribution, your generosity strengthens our shared commitment to student success and safety.
