VIDEO: Fallen Timbers Glow Day Illuminates Interest in STEM
Fifth and sixth grade students in Mrs. Yoder's STEM classes experienced their first ever Glow Day, thanks to grant funding provided by the Anthony Wayne Education Foundation (AWEF).  With the classroom lights off, students walked into an immersive educational experience designed to spark curiosity and enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).   Students learned about bioluminescence and phosphorescence as they completed a dozen different challenges, puzzles and games designed to promote problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork—fundamental skills for exploration and learning within the STEM fields.
