Violet LoweAnthony Wayne senior, Violet Lowe was named the Region 3 Vice President for SkillsUSA at the National Leadership and Skills Conference held in Atlanta, GA. She will represent students across Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana as a part of the career and technical education organization.
Violet is enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at Penta Career Center. She is also actively involved in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) where she recently earned a 9th Place Gold Award in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation contest at the National Convention. In fact, the national conferences for both organizations were held back-to-back, with Violet flying directly from the FCCLA Conference in Seattle, WA to participate in the SkillsUSA Conference.
