As we all know, our schedules can be incredibly busy, but it's important to take a step back and enjoy quality time with our loved ones. That’s why Anthony Wayne Local Schools participates in Family Week each year.
From June 30 through July 7, we will hit the pause button on all school activities. That means no practices, training, clubs, camps or other extracurricular commitments. This special week for families to spend more time together, without the usual hustle and bustle.
We hope you are able to find ways to rest and enjoy time doing activities you enjoy. Our goal is to encourage strong family bonds and ensure that everyone gets a well-deserved break.
Play Hide & Seek with the General During Family Week
Two dozen 3D-printed AW General mascots will be hidden in parks and other public spaces for families to find starting June 30. This challenge is provided to promote physical activity and spending time out in our community. More details about how you can play Hide and Seek with the General are in the flyer below. Special thanks to AWHS art teacher Bryan DeKay for designing and printing the Generals and AW community volunteer Terri Massucci for hiding them in Waterville, Whitehouse and Monclova Township! |
