Aubrey Shirey, 8th grader at Anthony Wayne Junior High earned a superior rating for her vocal solo at the OMEA District 1 Solo & Ensemble adjudicated event on Saturday, April 6. She sang "Sit Down, Sister" for a judge who evaluated her performance for technical accuracy and presentation. A superior (or 1) rating is the highest score a musician can earn.
