3rd-6th Girls - Registration opens in August and closes on October 4th. No fees will be paid until after your child has made the team. Try-outs will be Sunday October 6th and Sunday October 13th. Players must attend both try-out dates to be considered for a spot on the team
3rd-6th Grade Boys & Girls - Registration opens in August and will close the last week of October
7th-8th Grade Boys Only - Registration opens in August and will close the second week of November
The Fall Learn to Skate session begins October 19, 20, and 21 at the Slater Family Ice Arena in Bowling Green, Oh. Classes are available for ages three - adult on Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons, or Monday evenings. Classes are 30-minutes long and include skate rental as well as six complementary Public Skate Admissions. From Figure Skating and Youth Hockey to simply learning the basics for the first time, there is a class designed for your skater! Additional classes offered as skater’s progress through skating levels.

STEM in the Park will feature interactive displays and activities created by area universities, community partners, and local businesses to engage children of all ages in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Sierah Strong will empower our youth by providing self- awareness and self-defense techniques with the Finding F.O.C.U.S. (Foundations Of Confidence Under Stress) class. Each child who attends the program will also receive a KidPrint ID that has the child’s photo, statistics and a fingerprint on a laminated card.
The 3rd annual Spirit of Sierah Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 19th. This fundraiser invites all members of the community in celebrating the life and legacy of Sierah Joughin. The Live, Laugh, Love Every Day 5K is a family fun, costume friendly event with music, food, and beer. For the kids, there is a Fun Run, along with bouncy houses and face painting. Following the Fun Run is the Trick or Treating event that gives local businesses, organizations, and vendors a chance to set up a table and hand out information as well as candy to all the children.
Children/parents 3 and up can learn to skate in 5-7 week sessions, all at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. Program runs from September 7th through the end of June.
Children ages 4-14 can learn to play hockey in 8 week sessions. Program runs from September 7th through the end of June.

Volleyball opportunities available for all age groups at Premier Academy
The School of Art at Bowling Green State University is proud to offer youth art classes each semester for students in kindergarten – 12th grade. Classes meet for 10 Saturdays each semester from 10:00-11:30am.

English Riding Lessons are available tjis summer for all ages and levels of ability with Perfect Time Equestrian located at Lieway Hunt Club in Swanton, Ohio. Instruction may be given on your own horse or lesson horses. Perfect Time strives to offer a fun and educational experience in a safe environment.
