This message is a test of the Anthony Wayne Local Schools InstantConnect school messaging system.
You are receiving this message because you are on file in our PowerSchool system as parent/guardian or contact of a student enrolled in Anthony Wayne Local Schools or are an AWLS staff member. We will use InstantConnect to share news and information with you throughout the year.
You should receive an email message, phone call and text message as a part of this system test.
Important information regarding text messages:
Federal law requires that cell phone users give permission to receive text messages from mass notification systems. If you would like to receive future emergency notifications and school closings and delays via text message, you must opt in. Here’s how:
- Respond YES to the test message
If you receive a text message stating that you must subscribe to continue receiving text messages, please respond YES to opt in. - Self-Subscribe
You may register to receive text messages from the District by texting YES to 87569. - If you wish to opt-out of receiving text messages, simply respond STOP to the test message or text STOP to 87569.
The District typically communicates via email, but will send out phone calls and text messages in the case of an emergency and school delays/closings. Please be sure to check your email frequently throughout the school year, and keep your contact information up to date to ensure you continue to receive messages from your child’s school.
Reporting Issues with Instant Connect
If a District family or staff member does not receive a text message, phone call and an email please
