About the Transportation Department

The Transportation Department ensures safe, reliable, and efficient bus services for students. It manages bus routes, schedules, maintenance, and driver safety training to support students’ daily travel to and from school and school-related activities.

Transportation Quick Links

Address Change
Update using FinalForms and provide two proofs of residency to the Central Administrative Office.
Parent Transportation Request Form
Must be completed annually.
Student Driver Request Form
Purchase a parking permit from the AWHS Cashier or from MySchoolBucks. Must be completed each year.
Alternate Location Request Form
For students transported to a location other than home address. Must be completed annually.
Restarting School Transportation
Complete form if you wish to cancel an alternate route or change a student's status from parent transport or student driver to using bus service.
PENTA Student Transportation Request
Must be completed annually.
Nonpublic School Transportation
Must be completed by August 1 annually. Proof of residency and proof of attendance are required.
Payment in Lieu of Transportation
Must be completed each year. Proof of residency and attendance are required.

Bus Assignments

Finding Your Child's Bus Route Information

You can find your child's bus schedule in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. This information is updated for each school year in early August. Please wait until Returning Student Registration Day to check for bus assignments.

Step 1: Log Into PowerSchool.

Step 2: Click on the transportation information icon on the left side portal home page.

Proof of Residency

Residency must be confirmed for enrolling in Anthony Wayne Local Schools, submitting a change of address, requests for non-public school transportation, and payment in lieu of school transportation.

Parents/guardians should bring two proofs of residency to the Anthony Wayne Local Schools Central Administration Office at 9565 Bucher Rd., Whitehouse. Documents accepted are:

Two current utility bills in your name
Mortgage bill + utility bill in your name
Purchase/settlement agreement + utility bill within 30 days
Lease/rental agreement + utility bill within 30 days
Notarized Residency Affidavit with homeowner’s proofs of residency
