Anthony Wayne Local Schools Community,

I am deeply honored and grateful for the confidence and support of the Board in appointing me as the Interim Superintendent of Anthony Wayne Local Schools for the 2024-25 school year. It is with great enthusiasm that I step into this role, and I am excited to have the opportunity to work with our incredible students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and the entire community to move our District forward in a positive way.

Having spent 31 years in education, with 11 of those years serving as the Assistant Superintendent here at Anthony Wayne, I have a profound love and commitment to our schools. Prior to my tenure in this role, I had the privilege of working as an elementary principal for 14 years, as well as a curriculum supervisor and teacher. This extensive experience has prepared me well to lead our District and address the challenges we face.

My wife, Jennifer, and I have been members of the Anthony Wayne community for nearly 20 years. Our daughter, Mallory, is a proud graduate of Anthony Wayne Schools and is now making a difference as an RN at Toledo Hospital. As a family, we have witnessed firsthand the exceptional education and community spirit that define our District.

As your Interim Superintendent, I am committed to listening to your concerns and working collaboratively to find solutions to obstacles as they arise. I firmly believe that by working together, we can achieve great things for our students and community.

I am so proud to be a General and to lead this District during this important time. I am confident that together, we will accomplish remarkable achievements this year.

Concerns

Most questions and concerns about your child's academic progress, assignments, behavior or other classroom-related activities can be addressed by your child's classroom teacher. 

• If you do not feel your concern has been properly resolved, you are then encouraged to contact your building principal or counselor for additional support.

• In the event that your issue is not solvable at the building level, contact the assistant superintendent for further guidance. The concern may be elevated to the superintendent if no resolution can be found.
