Anthony Wayne Local Schools Community,

I am truly grateful to serve as the Superintendent of Anthony Wayne Local Schools. Each day, I am inspired by our incredible students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and the entire community as we work together to move our District forward in positive and meaningful ways.

This year marks my 35th year in education and my fourteenth in the district. This is my third year as superintendent of Anthony Wayne Local Schools. My love and commitment to this District run deep.

My wife, Jennifer, and I have proudly called the Anthony Wayne community home for more than 20 years. Our daughter, Mallory, and her husband, Frank, are both proud Anthony Wayne graduates and now reside in Waterville. They look forward to continuing our family's tradition as their son, Callahan, becomes a future General. As a family, we have experienced firsthand the outstanding education, school spirit, and strong sense of community that make Anthony Wayne such a special place.

The 2026–2027 school year will be an exciting one for our District. Throughout the year, we will engage students, staff, families, and community members in developing a new strategic plan that will establish our priorities and provide a clear vision for the next five years and beyond. This collaborative work will help ensure that every decision we make continues to support our mission of providing exceptional opportunities for all students.

As a District, we are committed to strengthening our partnerships with families and the community. Anthony Wayne has long been known for its tradition of excellence, and we will continue to engage our stakeholders in meaningful ways that foster pride in our schools and in the community we are fortunate enough to call home.

As your Superintendent, I will always work to foster open communication, collaboration, and trust among all members of our school community. When we work together with a shared purpose, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.

It is an honor to lead Anthony Wayne Local Schools during this exciting time. Together, we will continue to build on our proud tradition of excellence while preparing our students for bright futures filled with opportunity and success.

Concerns

Most questions and concerns about your child's academic progress, assignments, behavior or other classroom-related activities can be addressed by your child's classroom teacher. 

• If you do not feel your concern has been properly resolved, you are then encouraged to contact your building principal or counselor for additional support.

• In the event that your issue is not solvable at the building level, contact the assistant superintendent for further guidance. The concern may be elevated to the superintendent if no resolution can be found.

• If the matter is still not resolved, you may choose to address the Anthony Wayne Board of Education.
