Volunteers & Donations

Ways You Can Support Our School Community

Anthony Wayne Local Schools strives to provide an outstanding learning experience for all students - but we can't do it alone. We count on, and are grateful for the efforts of our AW Community to help us ensure students and staff have the resources they need to be successful.

Whether it’s through volunteering or making a donation, even small acts of support can make a big impact. By lending a hand, you’re not just helping students—you’re also supporting teachers and strengthening your community.

Thank you for supporting our schools!

AWLS Parent Groups and Boosters Organizations

One of the most impactful ways you can support our students and staff is by becoming involved with our Parent Groups and Boosters Organizations. We are fortunate to have outstanding parent-led groups that are committed to ensuring our students have access to incredible learning experiences and extra-curricular activities.

Please consider giving the gift of your time and talents, or supporting their fundraising efforts throughout the year.

Opportunity to Give: Neighborhood Bridges

Anthony Wayne Local Schools has partnered with neighborhood bridges to connect students and families in need with generous donors in our community in order to ensure they arrive at school ready to learn.

The process is easy and anonymous. Here's how it works:
  1. School representatives work with students and their families to identify barriers to securing basic needs.
  2. The school shares the need with neighborhood bridges.
  3. neighborhood bridges reaches out to its network of donors to ask for help on behalf of the student.
  4. Donors register to receive notifications and select the ways they can help.
  5. neighborhood bridges delivers the donation to the school.
  6. School representatives ensure families receive the needed item.

Sign up to be notified when needs arise by visiting: www.neighborhoodbridges.org/community/anthony-wayne

For assistance in requesting a need for your student or family, please contact your school counselor, principal or the District school social worker, Rebekah Hrcka.
