New to Waterville Primary School is the Generals Print Shop - a team of budding engineers, programmers, website designers and marketers. Using coding software and 3D printers, the students meet after school to plan, design, print and prepare for selling their creations.
Their goal is to use the funds generated by their work to expand operations and add more technologies to the Maker Space for other students to use.
The club has given students the opportunity to use the Portrait of a General competencies of communication and collaboration, adaptability and flexibility, critical thinking, learner's mindset and empathy as they explore new technologies and take their ideas from inspiration to creation and then to market.
