The Hour of Code is a global initiative designed to introduce people of all ages to the world of computer programming and coding, and give it a try for at least one hour. Hour of Code aims to demystify coding, promote digital literacy, and inspire children and adults to explore the vast opportunities within the field of computer science.
Students in various classrooms across the District experimented with block coding -- learning how to combine problem solving and creativity with basic coding commands to complete increasingly difficult challenges.
