Anthony Wayne High School held a send-off celebration for the Gymnastics and Cheerleading teams in preparation for their trip to the state level of competition on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The gymnastics team finished 2nd in the NLL and earned 2nd at the District competition to qualify compete at state. Brooke Miller also qualified as an individual. The team will compete at Hilliard Bradley on Saturday, March 2, and Brooke will compete on Sunday, March 3.
The Cheer teams qualified in Division 1 in the Building and Game Day categories and will compete at Big Walnut High School on Saturday, March 2.
