INSTANT CONNECT SCHOOL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS TEST

Anthony Wayne Local Schools Families & Staff:
The District will test its InstantConnect communications system in coordination with the Statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 20. You will be sent a phone call, text message and email at approximately 9:50 a.m.
You should receive an email, phone call and text message as a part of this system test on Wednesday, March 20.
If you do not receive an email:
If you do not receive a phone call:
- You will not receive a call if you have previously contacted the District to remove your number from the phone call list.
- Check your FinalForms account to ensure your phone number is up to date and entered correctly.
If you do not receive a text message:
Federal law requires that cell phone users give permission to receive text messages from mass notification systems. If you do not receive a text message from this system test, it is likely because of one of the following scenarios:
- You have not yet opted in to receive texts from AWLS. Subscribe by texting YES to 87569.
- You have opted out of texting. Resubscribe by texting YES to 87569.
- You have changed your phone number and have not updated it in FinalForms.
Reporting Issues with Instant Connect
The District typically communicates via email, but will send out phone calls and text messages in the case of an emergency and school delays/closings. Please be sure to check your email frequently throughout the school year, and keep your contact information up to date to ensure you continue to receive messages from your child’s school.
