Anthony Wayne High School presents Once Upon a Mattress, the musical version of the classic fairy tale The Princess and the Pea, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 16-18. The curtain rises at 7:00 p.m. each night, with an additional matinee performance at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The cast includes 35 students, featuring Ella Pfefferle as Princess Winnifred, Abe Nixon as Prince Dauntless, Ainsley Gasiorski as Queen Aggravain, Morgan Mangold as Lady Larken, Ethan Crosby as Sir Harry, and Raleigh DuShane as the Minstrel.
This is AWHS Choir Director Aaron Roos’ directing debut at Anthony Wayne High School, however he has extensive experience in musical theater, having co-directed performances at Anthony Wayne Junior High and served as music director for several community productions.
Tickets are available for purchase online only and are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $8 for children under 12.
