April Visual Art Student of the Month: Paige Bookenberger
Paige Bookenberger is a student at Anthony Wayne High School from Monclova. Paige shares, “I enjoy being able to bring out my creative side and explore different techniques. Along with that, I also enjoy being able to express myself, thoughts, and feelings through a different way especially when there are no words to explain the way I'm thinking and feeling. Another part of art I enjoy is bringing my thoughts to life and sharing my love of art with others, hoping to inspire others.”
Looking toward her future, Paige plans on attending a college that will allow her to continue pursuing her love for art along with potentially getting a degree in teaching to become an art teacher. Paige is the daughter of Toni and John Bookenberger.

April Music Student of the Month: Harrison Schilling
Harrison states “Music allows me to express myself in a variety of different styles. Whether it's jazz, classical, or modern songs, playing the trombone allows me to provide the audience with a truly musical experience. Music can be a gateway to endless emotions, so it is a true joy to be able to create something unique with my peers. Harrison’s musical achievements include receiving two superior ratings on solos at District 1 Solo and Ensemble, being a squad leader for the marching band for two years, performing in the Disney Magic Kingdom Parade with the marching band, and helping the symphonic winds receive the highest rating at District 1 OMEA State Contest. Upon graduation Harrison shares,” I am planning on attending college to pursue a bachelor's degree. My major is uncertain at the moment, but the two subjects that interest me the most are chemistry and psychology. My dream college is Princeton University, but I'm certain I will be successful regardless of where I attend.”
