If your child needs medications at school, parents will need to submit a prescription and/or over the counter medication form. This form must be completed each year, signed by a parent/guardian and physician, and submitted with all medications.
All medications must be in correctly labeled bottles and brought to school by a parent or guardian—not the student.
Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen are available at Fallen Timbers Middle School, AW Junior High, and Anthony Wayne High School with a signed over-the-counter form. Elementary students may bring cough drops with a signed note; they will be kept in the clinic or with the teacher. Other medications, like Orajel, triple antibiotic ointment, and calamine lotion, are administered at the nurse’s discretion.
