Seven Students Earn Top Awards in Writing Contest

Students from Whitehouse Primary School and Fallen Timbers Middle School were recognized for their creative writing talents in WGTE’s annual Share a Story Contest, which invites students ages four through 12 to write and illustrate original short stories. This year’s theme was “Gratitude,” encouraging students to explore ideas related to being thankful for the things you can see and touch, and the feelings and moments that you can’t see or hold.

The following students were recognized in their age divisions at an awards ceremony on Friday, May 1 at WGTE’s studios. They each received a copy of their book, a certificate and a backpack filled with prizes.
