Kindergarten students put their scientific prediction and observation skills to the test as they explored Waterville Primary School's native prairie. With a little help from the Toledo Zoo's Project Prairie team, they determined what makes something living or nonliving, and hypothesized whether they would find more living or nonliving things on their walk. Using their senses, the students made observations of the big and small things they found. The young scientists then gathered to discuss their findings and determine if their prediction was correct.
