Dear Anthony Wayne Stakeholders,
The AWLS Board of Education work session announced for Monday, April 8 has been canceled. This work session was originally scheduled to discuss the District's Financial Recovery Plan following the failure of last month’s proposed operational levy.
Planning for the implementation of the Financial Recovery Plan will instead be discussed at the regular April meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15. If the Board determines that future work sessions are needed, we will communicate those dates and times with you.
Please note: The April board meeting will take place in the Anthony Wayne High School Gymnasium to accommodate a presentation from our AW Bands and our military-connected students and families, who will be welcomed as special guests as part of the District’s recognition of the Month of the Military Child.
