Anthony Wayne High School today announced that senior Samantha Krauss was named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Commended Students are recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the entry test for the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Awards, the 2022 SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT ®).
“I am immensely proud of Samantha's achievements and the recognition she has received as a National Merit Commended Student. Her dedication to academic excellence sets a high standard for her fellow students, and she exemplifies the spirit of achievement that we strive to instill in all our students,” said Dan Kalo, AWHS Counselor. “As Samantha embarks on her senior year at Anthony Wayne High School, her future is undoubtedly bright. Her impressive academic accomplishments and her dedication to excellence are sure to open doors to a world of opportunities as she continues her educational journey beyond high school.”
Samantha will be awarded a Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC ®).
