Dear Anthony Wayne Community,

 

Yesterday, the Ohio Department of Education released its 2023 Ohio School Report Cards. I am pleased to share that Anthony Wayne Local Schools received an overall rating of 4.5 stars and ranked among the 7% of Districts in the state in student performance on the State Assessments.

 

District teams are continuing to examine the testing data, and we will share a deeper look at the District’s overall performance on the Ohio State Tests with you as soon as possible. 

The school report cards are certainly one measure of the performance of a school district. We know that the Anthony Wayne community also expects its schools to provide a well-rounded learning experience that include outstanding opportunities in the arts, student leadership, athletics and other activities.

 

Anthony Wayne is among 50 districts across the state that prepare an annual Quality Profile to provide a full picture of the overall educational value their schools provide to their communities. 

 

The Quality Profile highlights the accomplishments of our students and staff throughout the 2022-23 school year, as well as information about community involvement, finances, the District’s Strategic Plan and other future-focused initiatives. 

 

We are very fortunate to be able to provide our students with such incredible opportunities to learn and grow. It is only through the collaboration and support of our faculty and staff, students, families and community that we can continue to ensure each of our students is empowered to be future ready.
