Available Opportunities
Academics
AWJH Homework Helpers
Wednesdays & Thursdays after school until 3:30 p.m. - AWHS National Honor Society students are available to assist AWJH students with homework.
Clubs and Organizations
Waterville Youth Alive Group (Grades 7-12)
All teens are welcome to attend from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Waterville United Methodist Church.
Auditions & Performances
Rapunzel & the Knights of Elanda (Grades 2-8)
March 21 or 23: Cass Road Baptist Church. Come prepared to sing a song, learn a simple dance and read from a script.
The Ugly Duckling (Grades K-2)
Sign up by April 20. No audition required. Rehearsals at Cass Road Baptist Church
Camps
Spring Break Program (Girls, K-5)
March 28-30: The Girl Scouts of Western Ohio are hosting a Spring Break camp program at Farnsworth Metropark. Registration required by March 27.
Aspiring Teacher Camp (Grades 9-12)
Registration closes April 3: The Challenger Learning Center is hosting a camp for HS students interested in an education career. $450 scholarships available to students who complete the program.
Pre-Med Summer Camp (Grades 9-12)
April 15 is the last day to register for this camp held at The University of Toledo
SophistiCAMP Baton Camp
June 13-15, registrations are being accepted for all ages and levels

June 5 - June 9 One skill session (Mondays) and one match (Thursdays) per week.
Junior Generals Summer Volleyball League (Grades 3-4)
June 5 - June 29 One skill session (Monday) and one match (Thursday) weekly
Volleyball Skill Sessions (Grades K-2)
June 6 - 28 Meets Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Jr. Generals Soccer Camp (Grades 2-7)
July 24 -27, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Registration is $60 and benefits AWHS soccer programs.

2023 GROB Apprenticeship Program (graduating seniors)
Deadline: April 2 - This program offers students interested in engineering and manufacturing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in Engineering Technology while earning a wage.
