Anthony Wayne High School is hosting its annual In-Demand Career Day for the Class of 2024 on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and we need your help to prepare students for life beyond high school.
The goals of this event are to:
help students discover opportunities for summer and seasonal jobs
provide local businesses access to potential new employees
introduce students to in-demand jobs that may be of interest to them
connect students with post K-12 education and training opportunities
encourage students to interact/network with others in a professional setting
New this year, AWHS is opening the event to the public during an evening job fair from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to attend with their children to start the conversation about future plans, and job seekers from the community are invited to learn about available employment opportunities and network with employers.

10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. In-Demand Jobs Career Day
This event is for the class of 2024 only. Seniors will explore opportunities for enrollment, employment and enlistment as they meet with representatives from local organizations.
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Community Job Fair
Open to the public. Parents of students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend with their child to explore post-graduation options, and job seekers are invited to network with local employers.
6:30 - 7:00 p.m. Future Planning Discussion
For students and their families. Learn more about helping your child decide their pathway to enrollment, employment or enlistment, and how to begin positive and productive conversations about future planning and career preparation.

Please consider using these events to share information about the enrollment, employment and enlistment opportunities available at your organization.
There is no cost to participate. A six-foot table and two chairs will be provided. Setup begins at 9:30 a.m.
