About Your Anthony Wayne Local Schools Board Members
Pam Brint, Board President Pam Brint was first elected to the Board in November 2007. She was re-elected for her fourth term in November 2019. She currently serves as Board President, but has also served as Vice President. Pam has lived in Waterville Township since 1990. She held various officer and committee positions with parent organizations when her children were in school. She also served on several levy campaigns through the years and volunteered for various school-community committees. Now, three of her seven grandchildren are students in the District, and Pam enjoys volunteering for her grandchildren's activities allowing her to be in the schools and interacting with students.
Pam is a retired dental hygienist, having practiced 26 years. She owns Anthony Wayne Tire & Auto Repair in Monclova. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with family. |
Jeff Baden, Board Vice President Jeff Baden was re-elected for his second term beginning in 2020, after completing his first term that began in January 2016. He previously served as co-chairman of the AWLS levy committee and two years as Board President. Jeff has lived in Whitehouse for more than 20 years with his wife Tina. Their three children graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and Penta Career Center.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio University (1994) and an MBA from the University of Findlay (2011). He is employed as a Senior Program Manager for Dana Inc. in Maumee.
Jeff is an active member and past president of the Waterville Rotary Club where he participates in many community projects and activities. He is also an active member and financial chairman at Community of Christ Lutheran Church in Whitehouse. Jeff enjoys all outdoor activities, especially biking and running. He is also a hobby woodworker.

Jayna Gwin Jayna Gwin was elected to a four-year term with the Board in November of 2019.
Jayna lives in Monclova with her husband and their two children. Jayna earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Siena Heights College and an M.Ed. from the University of Toledo and is a licensed child and family therapist in the state of Ohio. Jayna fosters a passion for volunteering in both the school and the local community. She served 12 years as the Registration Committee Chairperson for the NW Ohio Susan G. Komen foundation served as the Vice-President of the Monclova Area Parents Club as well as chaired and participated on several committees over the past several years.
Being a member of the AW School Board and playing an active role in ensuring a quality education for the students in the district provides a unique opportunity to combine Jayna’s personal passion of volunteerism and community involvement with her academic training and professional skills. |
Kyle Miller Kyle Miller was elected to the Board in November 2021 to serve his first term beginning in January 2022.
He is no stranger to the Anthony Wayne Local Schools, as he has been a resident in the area for over 20 years. Kyle graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 2012 where he met his wife, Addie. They have two children and a Catahoula/Labrador Retriever named Winston. He currently works part-time as a Firefighter/EMT for Monclova Township while also serving as an Account Manager/Compliance Director at Reliable Drug Testing Clinic full-time. He has previously served on the Central Committee for Waterville District 1 and as President of the Monclova Firefighters Association.
Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on the Buckeyes, Bears and Capitals. Kyle is thrilled to contribute to Anthony Wayne and its continued prosperity in the education of their students and looks forward to contributing to the enhancement of the history and values of the Anthony Wayne education system. |
Troy Lutz Troy was appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy in June 2022.
He and his wife, Elizabeth have lived in Monclova for 20 years, and their three children have attended Anthony Wayne Schools. Troy holds a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Findlay. He is the executive director of business planning and analytics for Tenneco Automotive.
Troy is an active member of the Maumee United Methodist Church and enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. |
