Band Band is offered to all FTMS students who choose to commit to playing a traditional marching band instrument including woodwinds, brass and percussion. Concert performances highlight our band twice a year.

Choir The choir provides an opportunity for students to Be Involved with music and to begin to grow their musical talents. Choir is offered as a class three times a week during our flex time. There are also opportunities for outside of school concerts.

Cross Country Program Thanks to a partnership with Dave's Running and staff and community volunteers, FTMS students can learn about themselves and the sport of cross country in this fall program.

National Honor Society Tutoring Club NHS tutoring club is held after school and begins in November. This program provides an opportunity for FT students to be mentored by our own AW NHS members and improve academic skills at the same time.

Student Council At Fallen Timbers Be Involved is one of our PBIS values. Therefore, student council is open to all students and everyone is invited to participate. Throughout the year FT student council leads many school-wide initiatives and community events.

6th Grade Outdoor Education 6th grade students are provided with the opportunity to attend Camp Michindoh in Hillsdale, MI. The outdoor experience includes archery, canoeing, campfires, team building and so much more. Our overnight trips to camp often take place each fall.

Spelling Bee All FT students participate in our annual Spelling Bee. The contest begins in homerooms and culminates in a building-wide competition among the top spellers in their classes. Winning students have the opportunity to move on to district and regional competitions.
