Anthony Wayne High School offers an educational experience that can be customized to meet your educational goals, including AP classes, College Credit Plus, career technical education courses at PENTA Career Center, courses in the visual, vocal and instructional arts, as well as outstanding technology, foreign language and business classes.
Outstanding Instructors & Caring Counselors
All of our instructors are Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT)-certified and focus on the unique needs and interests of each student. We provide a full continuum of services for students with special needs, and our intervention instructors are excellent communicators and collaborators. Our team of counselors assists students with scheduling and career planning, and provides compassionate support for students' social-emotional needs.
Culture of Competence
Together with our community, we identified a list of characteristics and skills Anthony Wayne students should attain and demonstrate to help them become successful in our ever-changing world. Our Portrait of a General encourages our students to embrace a learner's mindset, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility, empathy, communication and collaboration and critical thinking skills.
Future Focused
Upon graduation, Anthony Wayne graduates are well-prepared and positioned to pursue their future plans. Each of the 361 graduates in the class of 2023 earned a high school diploma, and 64.5% will attend a four-year institution, 19.7% will attend a two-year college, professional school or an apprenticeship program, 3% have enlisted in the military and 9.4% will immediately pursue employment. The Class of 2023 was offered $14.5 million in scholarships.
Engaging Activities
In addition to the excellent academic offerings at Anthony Wayne High School, students actively participate in a variety of clubs and organizations. We believe these activities provide opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve, and build a sense of community. We are also proud to share that many of our student organizations participate in service projects as a way to give back to the community.
Competitive Athletics
The Anthony Wayne Generals are a formidable opponent in the Northern Lakes League. Our student-athletes frequently earn local, regional and state recognition as members of our competitive teams and individually. During the 2022-23 school year our teams and individual athletes earned NLL, District, Regional and State-level recognition, many school records were broken and nearly two dozen athletes signed to compete in college.

From our state-of-the art science labs to our fine and performing arts wing, and our outstanding athletics complex, our dedicated maintenance staff strives to maintain a clean, safe, and secure educational environment.
